Another good day

The nurse, Teresa, from Kale's pediatrician's office called today to schedule Kale's next Synagis shot. As we were picking out a time, she said, "I see you guys were approved for the financial assistance for the shot." Yay!!! I had actually called that company this past Friday or so to ask about the status of our application and was told that they were just waiting to verify information with our insurance company. The lady had told me that if we were denied she'd call us, if we were approved then we'd get a letter in the mail. Looks like we have a letter coming our way. From what Teresa read to me over the phone, it qualifies us for up to $1500.00 in coverage and is good through next February. I think we have to reapply every year. No biggie. I'm just glad we don't have to worry about finding a way to pay for the Synagis shot! Whew!

Anyway.
So Maile and I were hanging out and playing with Kale earlier. I had him lying on the floor on his back and Maile started to sing some song she had learned from school. As soon as she started to sing, he started laughing. Hard. So I ran to get the camera and was able to record it.

After that I decided to put him on his belly for some tummy time and record that, too. And guess what? Kale rolled from his belly to his back for the first time ever, and I got it on video!!!! I was so shocked! I was just talking to his teacher yesterday about how he hasn't even attempted to do that and then today he does it out of nowhere. Pretty awesome, if you ask me. Let me warn you, though. There is a lot of squealing and/or shrieking going on after Kale does his thing. Uhh...and it's not coming from him...
